2018 is the 200th year of ministry and mission at the Byron Presbyterian Church.  Here are some of the special events and projects that are happening.  We hope you can join with us!

Saturday, April 21, Noon – “Brides of Byron” – a tea party for women married at the church.  Special mementos of the occasion will be given out.  Look forward to old photos, maybe even some old dresses, too!

Sunday, June 3, following 9:45 AM worship, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, a Community Celebration in the park adjacent to the church.  Games for all ages, hot dogs and ice cream, plus a a local band, Old Hippies, will regale us with music.  Free!

Saturday, November 17, 5:00 PM – 200th Anniversary Dinner, at the South Byron Rec Hall.  Speakers Rev. Gail and Anthony Ricciuti, with messages from Rev. Henry Snedekker and the family of Rev. Swinehart.  Watch for details about reservations in months to come.

Quilting – Faline Tyler is a coordinating a 200th Anniversary Quilt project.  Contact the church office to participate.  For skilled and unskilled quilters, young and old!

T-shirt Sundays – on the first Sunday of each month during 2018 we encourage you to wear your 200th Anniversary T-shirt.  The front and back display the spirit of our church’s anniversary year.  Shirts are available in a variety of sizes, $8 – $12.
